Founded in 1999 by Gary and Cathy Somdahl, Somerset is an organization dedicated to assisting teens, adults, and families in rebuilding their lives. Gary, the author of three popular books including "Drugs & Kids," "Interview with Addiction," and "Marijuana Drug Dangers," has been providing guidance and support for the past twenty-nine years. In addition to being an advice columnist for "LISTEN" magazine and a former newspaper columnist and television host for KRLB, he is a skilled counselor, writer, and lecturer. Cathy, an expert in the field of chemical dependency for over twenty years, specializes in working with clients diagnosed with co-occurring disorders. She is a sought-after speaker in schools, civic groups, and support agencies, and her energy and dedication greatly contribute to the recovery efforts for both teens and adults.
